Bangkok Polytechnic College Partners with Tang International Education Group to Launch Thailand’s First “Future Competency Center (FCC)” to Elevate Vocational Excellence
Hello, and welcome to BPC NEWS. On May 21, 2026 – Bangkok Polytechnic College, led by Director Dr. Pravit Sanabnaen, convened a strategic consultation meeting with TANG International Education Group, represented by Mr. Li Jinsong, Chairman and Founder, to advance the establishment of the “Future Competency Center” (FCC). The hybrid meeting, hosted at Bangkok Polytechnic College, marked a significant milestone in international educational cooperation. Let’s dive into the details of this report.
This collaboration positions Bangkok Polytechnic College as the first pilot institution in Thailand—and one of the first globally—to host an FCC. By integrating resources from top-tier educational institutions and high-quality industrial partners from the People’s Republic of China under the Belt and Road Initiative, the college aims to build an educational ecosystem aligned with national development strategies and the demands of the digital-era labor market.
Leadership and Strategic Implementation
Under the guidance of Dr. Pravit Sanabnaen and the college’s senior management team, Bangkok Polytechnic College is fully prepared to serve as the core hub for this initiative. The implementation strategy focuses on four key pillars
Curriculum Structuring: Developing curricula aligned with emerging industries.
Infrastructure Readiness: Preparing expert personnel from the Electrical and Modern Automotive departments, alongside standard-compliant training facilities and equipment.
Co-developed Curriculum: Collaboratively designing course content tailored to the Thai labor market to ensure practical application within local industries.
Sustainable Faculty Development: The meeting reached a consensus on developing an “Online Teacher Training” program for Chinese language instruction. This initiative aims to equip Thai vocational faculty with modern pedagogical technologies, with Teacher Atjima Thinphruekngam serving as the Chinese-Thai language liaison to ensure seamless knowledge transfer from international experts.
Driving Future Industries
The Future Competency Center (FCC), in collaboration with TANG Global, focuses on developing human capital by leveraging China’s leadership in four strategic industries
